A Connection links a sales channel (your store or marketplace) to a warehouse so DropStream can move orders, shipments, inventory, and other data between them on your behalf. Each Connection ties together three things:
- Merchant — the customer or brand that owns the inventory.
- Store — where orders are placed (e.g. Shopify, Amazon, an EDI trading partner).
- Warehouse — the fulfillment system that ships those orders.
To open Connections, click Connections in the left navigation.
The Connections list shows every Connection in your account along with its Merchant, Store, Warehouse, and an enable/disable switch. Search by name, or use Filter by to filter on Status, Merchant, Store Platform, or Warehouse Platform.
Click a Connection name to open its detail view, which has two tabs:
- Channels — per-channel status, schedules, and run-now actions (Sales Orders, Shipments, Inventory, Products, Returns, Catalogs, Purchase Orders).
- Settings — Connection name, Store credentials, Warehouse credentials, and Locations mapping.
