About Sales Orders

Karl Falconer · Updated

DropStream pulls orders from your sales channels, applies your fulfillment rules, and forwards them to your warehouse. The Sales Orders section in the app shows every order DropStream has imported, where it is in the fulfillment lifecycle, and lets you take action on individual orders or in bulk.

To open the orders list, click Sales Orders in the left sidebar, then Orders.

What you can do with orders

  • Search and filter orders — find orders by ID, customer, SKU, or email; filter by status, connection, store, merchant, SKU, or date.
  • View an order — open an order to see its items, shipments, returns, invoices, and activity timeline.
  • Edit an order — change billing or shipping fields and individual line items before the order ships.
  • Order actions — take action on a single order from its Actions menu: reprocess, reset, archive, or delete.
  • Bulk order actions — select multiple orders in the list and apply the same action to all of them at once.
  • Sales order statuses — reference for what each status means.
  • Abandoned orders — orders that did not ship within the configured window.
  • Set order import schedule — change how often DropStream pulls new orders from a connection.
  • Manually trigger an order import — run an import on demand without waiting for the schedule.

The Sales Orders sidebar group also contains views for the artifacts an order produces as it moves through fulfillment: Shipments, Returns, Invoices, and Acknowledgements. These are documented in their own sections.
