Enable or Disable a Connection

When adding a new connection, you will need to first enable it to begin the flow of data. Or, it may be necessary to disable a connection you no longer need.

Follow these steps to enable or disable a connection in DropStream.

Enable a Connection

After you create a Connection, its default state is Disabled - it is not yet importing orders, processing them with rules, or sending them to the warehouse for fulfillment.

In the Connections view (Dashboard > Connections), all connections have an ON/OFF switch. You can use this to switch a Connection from Disabled (OFF) to Enabled (ON).

To enable a connection:

  1. Click on the Connections tab in the pane at the left.

Disable a Connection

When you disable a connection, all order operations immediately stop. Orders are not imported from the sales channel, processed, or sent to the warehouse for fulfillment.

Note: Disabling a connection does not affect billing. Your account is billed for the stores you've created in your account, regardless of whether they are active or inactive. To stop billing for a store, the store must be deleted.

Follow these steps to disable a connection:

  1. Click on the Connections tab in the pane at the left.
