This article is for whoever connects a Wayfair supplier account inside DropStream using the recommended REST API (Version 2). You’ll add the store through DropStream’s Add Connection wizard.
If you haven’t gathered your credentials yet, do that first — Get Your API Credentials (REST Version 2).
What you’ll need
- A DropStream account you can sign in to.
- Your Wayfair Client ID, Client Secret, and Supplier ID — see Get Your API Credentials (REST Version 2).
How DropStream connects to Wayfair
Every store connects through the same Add Connection wizard. For the full walkthrough of the wizard’s four steps, see Add a Connection. This article covers only the Store Setup step, where you enter the Wayfair-specific details.
Enter your Wayfair details

In the Add Connection wizard, work through to the Store Setup step. Choose Create new store, give the store a Name, and select Wayfair as the Platform.

Set the API Version to REST (Version 2). The REST credential fields appear.

Enter your credentials:

Click Add connection.
Notes
- Wayfair requires you to validate the application before it’s approved for production. See Validate Application.
- After connecting, set up the required daily full inventory sync.
