Every shipment in DropStream has a State that reflects where it is in the import → notify → done lifecycle. The State value appears as a badge on the shipments list and in the header of each shipment’s detail page.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | DropStream has imported the shipment from the WMS and is preparing to notify the source sales channel. |
| Open | Notification is in flight. Most shipments pass through this state briefly. |
| Error | Processing was halted because of an error or retries were exhausted. The shipment detail page shows the error; resolve the underlying issue and Reprocess to continue. |
| Completed | The sales channel has acknowledged the shipment and no further work is required. |
Filter the list by state
The State facet on the Filter by menu lets you restrict the list to one or more states.
Recovering from Error
Shipments stuck in Error will not advance on their own. Open the shipment, fix the underlying problem (for example, a missing field on the source order or a transient sales-channel outage), then choose Reprocess from the Actions menu to retry. If the shipment was created against the wrong order or the warehouse re-sent corrected data, choose Reset instead to start over.
