View Inventory for a SKU

Documentation Team · Updated

The inventory detail page is the per-SKU view of what DropStream knows about an item: where stock lives, which channels it’s pushed to, and when each event happened. To open it, click any SKU on the Warehouse Inventory list.

An inventory detail page

Page layout

A header bar at the top shows the SKU, the merchant, and a Copy SKU button. The body has three tabs and a sidebar.

Tabs

  • Warehouse Locations — one row per facility within the warehouse, with On hand, Committed, and Available. A Total row aggregates across facilities.
  • Channels — every channel that exports this SKU’s inventory, with the channel SKU (after listing translation), the level pushed, and the last export status.
  • Activity — a timeline of inventory events for this SKU: warehouse updates received, channel pushes attempted, and any errors.
  • Product Information — Master SKU, UPC, Product Type, Merchant, Cost, Weight, Dimensions. Pulled from the catalog. If no catalog record exists for this SKU, the fields read “—”.
  • Sync Status — when the warehouse last reported a level, which source it came from, and when the next sync is scheduled.

When fields are blank

DropStream stores warehouse levels for any SKU the warehouse reports, even if there’s no catalog product for it. In that case the sidebar’s product fields stay blank and the Channels tab is empty — DropStream has nowhere to push the level because no listing references this SKU.

Adding a master product and a listing on the relevant store fills in the sidebar and starts populating the Channels tab on the next sync.

Bundle SKUs

Open the master SKU’s detail page to see warehouse stock for the bundle’s components — the bundle SKU itself doesn’t typically have warehouse stock. The bundle’s channel push is computed from the components and appears on the Channels tab of each component, and on the master product’s Channel Inventory rows. See Bundle products for the math.
