Warehouse and Channel Inventory Views

Documentation Team ยท Updated

DropStream splits inventory into two list views: Warehouse (what the warehouse reports it has) and Channel (what DropStream has pushed or will push to each store). Both are reached from Inventory in the left sidebar.

Warehouse Inventory

The Warehouse view at Inventory โ†’ Warehouse shows every SKU and quantity DropStream has imported from your warehouses, one row per SKU and facility.

The Warehouse Inventory list page

Column What it shows
SKU The SKU the warehouse reported. Click to open the detail page.
Merchant The merchant the SKU belongs to.
Product Name Name from the catalog if a master product exists for this SKU; otherwise blank.
UPC UPC from the catalog if set.
Warehouse The warehouse that reported this level.
Facility The specific facility within the warehouse (if the warehouse reports multi-location).
Available The available quantity as reported by the warehouse.
On Hand The on-hand quantity as reported by the warehouse.
Updated At When DropStream last received an update for this SKU and facility.

Search and filter. The search box matches SKUs. Click Filter by to narrow the list by Merchant, Warehouse, or Facility. Use Columns to hide or show columns and Default View to save the result as a named view.

Channel Inventory

The Channel view at Inventory โ†’ Channel shows what DropStream is pushing (or has pushed) to each store, per channel SKU. This is the figure shoppers see.

The Channel Inventory list page

Column What it shows
Product / Listing The master product or listing the row is for.
Listing SKU The channel SKU as known to the store. Differs from the warehouse SKU when a listing translates it.
Merchant The merchant.
Stores The store the level applies to.
On Hand Available units. For bundle products, computed from component availability.
Allocated Units committed to open orders.
Status Last export status โ€” what happened on the most recent push attempt.
Last Exported Timestamp of the last successful push.

Filter by Merchant, Sales Channel (store), or Export Status.

When channel SKUs differ from warehouse SKUs

If the storefront sells BIKE-SET but the warehouse stocks E-BIKE and E-BIKE-BATTERY as components of a bundle, the Warehouse view shows the two component SKUs and the Channel view shows BIKE-SET with the computed bundle quantity. The link between the two is the bundle definition on the catalog product and the listing that ties the channel SKU to the bundle master.

When the channel SKU matches the warehouse SKU and no listing is defined, the channel row reports the warehouse level for that SKU directly.

Open a row

Click any SKU in the Warehouse view to open the inventory detail page for that item.
