Miva - Enable API Access

This article is for whoever connects a Miva account inside DropStream — a fulfillment provider (3PL) or a merchant who manages their own DropStream account. You’ll add the store through DropStream’s Add Connection wizard. If a fulfillment provider is setting up DropStream for you, you don’t need this page — just gather your Miva API credentials and send them over.

What you’ll need

• A DropStream account you can sign in to.
• Your Miva Username, Password, Store Code, API URL, API Token, and Signing Digest — see Miva - Get Your API Credentials.

How DropStream connects to Miva

Every store connects through the same Add Connection wizard. For the full walkthrough of the wizard’s four steps, see Add a Connection. This article covers only the Store Setup step, where you enter the Miva-specific details.

Enter your Miva details

1. In the Add Connection wizard, work through to the Store Setup step. Choose Create new store, give the store a Name, and select Miva as the Platform. The Miva credential fields appear below.

2. Enter your credentials:

3. (Optional) Choose one or more Order Import Statuses to filter imported orders: Pending, Processing, Shipped, Partially Shipped, Cancelled, Backordered, RMA Issued, or Returned.

4. Click Add connection.

Notes

• When generating the API Token in Miva (Users > API Tokens), whitelist IP address 34.197.18.122 under Allowed IP Addresses, and you may set Require Timestamp Within to 30 sec.
• The API URL folder segment is usually mm5 but may be Merchant2 or store; check Domain Settings > Site Configuration in Miva.
• If you’re unsure of your Store Code, contact your Miva representative.
