Add or Edit a Product

Karl Falconer · Updated

A product in the catalog is the master record for a SKU. From a single form you set the master attributes, define bundle components, and manage which stores it’s listed on.

Add a product

  1. Click Products → Catalog in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add Item in the top right.
  3. Choose the Merchant the product belongs to.
  4. Fill in the Master tab fields, then click Create Product.

The only required field is Sku. Everything else — name, weight, price, image URL, description — is optional and can be edited later.

Edit a product

From the product detail page, click Actions → Edit. The form opens with three tabs.

Master tab

The canonical SKU and shared attributes for the product. These values are used wherever a per-channel override isn’t set.

Components tab

Lists the component SKUs this product is made of. Adding components turns the product into a bundle — see Bundle products.

Listings tab

One card per store on the merchant. Toggle a store on to list the product there. When enabled, you can set a per-store SKU (required) and optionally override Name, Weight, Price, Image URL, and Description for that channel only.

The same data is editable from the Listings section — the Listings tab here is a shortcut for managing every channel for a single product in one place.

When you click Save Changes, all three tabs are saved together. Click Delete in the lower left to remove the master record (and all of its listings).
