To open a return’s detail page, click its Confirmation ID in the returns list.

A return's detail page

The header shows the Confirmation ID along with:

  • Status badge — the current return status.
  • Returned at — when the warehouse or returns system reported the return.
  • Sales Channel — the store the original order came from. Click to open the store.
  • Actions menu — see Return actions.

Items tab

The Items tab lists every line item on the return:

Column What it is
Item SKU and product name.
Qty Quantity the customer is returning.
Received Quantity the warehouse has confirmed it physically received. May lag the Qty value if the warehouse is processing the return in stages.
Unit Price Price per unit at the time of the original order.
Total Line total (Qty × Unit Price).

The grand total beneath the table sums the line totals.

Return summary

The right sidebar shows the most-used return fields at a glance:

  • Confirmation ID — DropStream’s identifier for the return.
  • External ID — the warehouse or returns system’s identifier.
  • Returned at — when the return was reported.
  • Imported at — when DropStream pulled the return record in.
  • Original order — the sales order this return is associated with.

Full return details (drawer)

Click View return details in the summary card to open a drawer with every field on the return record, including the customer’s return-from address and the warehouse’s return-to address.

Field What it is
Order reference / display ID / ordered at The sales order this return came from, by internal ID, external display ID, and original order date.
Fulfillment warehouse ID The warehouse that processed the return.
Warehouse return ID The warehouse’s own identifier for the return record.
Notes Free-text notes from the warehouse or returns system, often containing a reason for the return.
Customer name + return-from address Where the items were returned from.
Warehouse name + return-to address Where the items were sent.

Toggle Hide empty fields at the bottom of the drawer to collapse fields the warehouse did not provide.
