Orderhive - Enable API Access

Documentation Team · Updated

This article is for whoever connects an Orderhive account inside DropStream — a fulfillment provider (3PL) or a merchant who manages their own DropStream account. You’ll add the store through DropStream’s Add Connection wizard. If a fulfillment provider is setting up DropStream for you, you don’t need this page — just gather your Orderhive API credentials and send them over.

What you’ll need

How DropStream connects to Orderhive

Every store connects through the same Add Connection wizard. For the full walkthrough of the wizard’s four steps, see Add a Connection. This article covers only the Store Setup step, where you enter the Orderhive-specific details.

Enter your Orderhive details

  1. In the Add Connection wizard, work through to the Store Setup step. Choose Create new store, give the store a Name, and select Orderhive as the Platform. The Orderhive credential fields appear below.

  2. Enter your credentials:

    Field What it is Example
ID Token Your Orderhive API ID token abcd1234…
Refresh Token Your Orderhive API refresh token ••••••••

For where to find each value, see Get Your API Credentials.

  3. (Optional) Restrict which orders are imported:

    • Only orders with the following tags will be imported — enter one or more order tags; an order must carry one to be imported.
    • Only orders with the following statuses will be imported — enter one or more order statuses; an order must have one to be imported.
    • Only these stores will be imported — enter one or more store IDs; only orders from those stores are imported.
    • Only this warehouse will be imported — select a warehouse; only orders designated for fulfillment there are imported.
  4. Click Add connection.

Notes

  • Orderhive issues the ID Token and Refresh Token on request — ask your Orderhive representative for them.
