Infusionsoft - Configure SKUs

Stock keeping units (SKUs) are merchant-defined codes that uniquely identify products in a warehouse. It is critical that the SKUs defined in Infusionsoft exactly match the SKUs loaded into your warehouse management system.

Add a new SKU

To add an SKU to a new product:

  1. In your Infusionsoft admin panel, and go to the eCommerce module.
  2. In eCommerce Setup, click Products.
  3. Click Add a Product.
  4. Fill in the product details. Set the Product Type to Product.

  1. On the Manage Product page, enter an SKU.

  1. Click Save.

Modify an existing SKU

To modify an SKU for an existing product:

  1. Log in to your Infusionsoft administration panel, and go to the eCommerce module.
  2. In eCommerce Setup, click Products.
  3. Click a Product name.
  4. Modify the product's SKU.
  5. Click Save.

Create SKUs for product options

For products with options, it is important that each of the options has a corresponding SKU, and that the fulfillment provider is aware of them.

To set up product option SKUs is Infusionsoft:

  1. In the Infusionsoft Dashboard, go to the eCommerce module.
  2. Click Products.
  3. Click the Product name..
  4. Click the Product Options tab.

  1. Provide a Name for the product option, and set the Option type.
  2. Click Add.

  1. Under Create a New Color Option Value, enter a Value Name and Code for the new product option. The code is the SKU which will be sent to the the fulfillment provider's warehouse management system.
  2. Click Add.
