This article is for whoever connects a ClickFunnels funnel inside DropStream — a fulfillment provider (3PL) or a merchant who manages their own DropStream account. You’ll add the store through DropStream’s Add Connection wizard.
ClickFunnels connects by webhook rather than an API key: you give DropStream your Funnel URL, and DropStream gives you back a webhook URL to paste into ClickFunnels (the next step).
Before you start, obtain your Funnel URL — see Obtain Funnel URL in ClickFunnels.
What you’ll need
- A DropStream account you can sign in to.
- Your ClickFunnels Funnel URL (the Share URL that contains your Funnel ID).
How DropStream connects to ClickFunnels
Every store connects through the same Add Connection wizard. For the full walkthrough of the wizard’s four steps, see Add a Connection. This article covers only the Store Setup step, where you enter the ClickFunnels-specific details.
Enter your ClickFunnels details
-
In the Add Connection wizard, work through to the Store Setup step. Choose Create new store, give the store a Name, and select ClickFunnels as the Platform. The ClickFunnels field appears below.
-
Enter your detail:
Field What it is Example Funnel URL The ClickFunnels Share URL containing your Funnel ID https://app.clickfunnels.com/funnels/123456/...DropStream extracts the Funnel ID from this URL. For where to find it, see Obtain Funnel URL.
-
Click Add connection.
Next: copy your DropStream webhook URL
Once the store is created, open it from Connections or Stores and copy the webhook URL DropStream generated for it. You’ll paste that URL into a new ClickFunnels webhook — see Create a New Webhook in your Funnel.
Notes
- As of Oct. 1, 2022, DropStream uses a new, more secure webhook format. If
your funnel still uses a legacy webhook URL (ending in
/cart/hooks/click-funnels), archive it in ClickFunnels and create a new one. - This article covers ClickFunnels (1.0). ClickFunnels 2.0 is a separate platform option in the wizard with its own credentials.
