Faire - Enable API Access

This article is for whoever connects a Faire store inside DropStream — a fulfillment provider (3PL) or a merchant who manages their own DropStream account. You’ll add the store through DropStream’s Add Connection wizard. If a fulfillment provider is setting up DropStream for you, you don’t need this page — just gather your Faire API Account Token and send it over.

What you’ll need

• A DropStream account you can sign in to.
• Your Faire API Account Token — see Faire - Get Your API Credentials.

How DropStream connects to Faire

Every store connects through the same Add Connection wizard. For the full walkthrough of the wizard’s four steps, see Add a Connection. This article covers only the Store Setup step, where you enter the Faire-specific details.

Enter your Faire details

1. In the Add Connection wizard, work through to the Store Setup step. Choose Create new store, give the store a Name, and select Faire as the Platform. The Faire credential field appears below.

2. Enter your credential:

   Field	What it is	Example
   API Account Token	Your Faire API account token	a1b2c3d4e5f6

3. (Optional) Select which Order Import States to import — PROCESSING and/or NEW.

4. Click Add connection.

Notes

• The Faire API Account Token is provided by your Faire representative.

Once the connection is added, your Faire orders will begin importing into DropStream.
