When the shipments channel is enabled for the connection, DropStream polls the Camelot API for order status updates according to the order status schedule (by default, every 4 hours).
By default DropStream uses the
GetOrderStatusDateRange Camelot API method to get order status updates and get shipment data. This method is efficient because it returns multiple records and requires fewer API transactions. However it requires additional processing/database access on the Excalibur side.
If the Excalibur installation is taking too long to respond to these requests, you can request that DropStream Support change the order status update method to
GetOrderStatusDetail, which gets the status of each open order individually.
To request this, email firstname.lastname@example.org, and ask them to set "Import shipments by individual" for one or more of your merchants.
