Spree Commerce - Gather API Credentials

In order to enable API access, the following Spree Commerce credentials must be gathered:

• Store URL
• API Key (Token)

Store URL

The Store URL is the complete URL of your Spree Commerce store, e.g., http://mystore.com.

API Key (Token)

You must create a Spree Commerce user account for the integration, for which you generate a unique API Key (also called a Token).

1. In Spree Commerce, Add a new user with an email address and a password.
2. Select the Admin role.
3. Click Create.

4. Edit the new user.

   

5. Click Generate API Key.
6. Retain the API Key.
