Spree Commerce - Configure SKUs

Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) are merchant-defined codes that uniquely identify products in a warehouse. It is critical that the SKUs defined in Spree Commerce exactly match the SKUs loaded into your warehouse management system.

• Obtain SKUs
• Product Variants

Obtain SKUs

1. Click Products.
2. Click the product of choice. The SKU is displayed as part of the product information.
3. Ensure that all products have a unique SKU.

Product Variants

If any of your products have variants (such as size or color), it's necessary that each variant has a unique SKU:

1. In Spree Commerce, click Variants to go to the Edit Product page.
2. Ensure that each variant has a unique SKU.
