Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) are merchant-defined codes that uniquely identify products in a warehouse. It is critical that the SKUs defined in Sears exactly match the SKUs loaded into your warehouse management system.
Configure SKUs in Sears
- In the Sears Admin interface, click Products > Browse and Edit.
- Select a category and click Load Catalog.
- Click Edit.
- Click Offers.
- The Item ID field contains the SKU number that will be managed in the fulfillment center warehouse.
Note: Once an SKU has been defined for a product in the Sears store, it cannot be modified.
If you want to assign a new SKU to an existing product in Sears, you must delete the product, then recreate it the product with the new SKU number.
