Goodsie - Enable API Access

Documentation Team · Updated

This article is for whoever connects a Goodsie store inside DropStream — a fulfillment provider (3PL) or a merchant who manages their own DropStream account. You’ll add the store through DropStream’s Add Connection wizard. If a fulfillment provider is setting up DropStream for you, you don’t need this page — just gather your Goodsie Shop Name and send it to them.

What you’ll need

  • A DropStream account you can sign in to.
  • Your Goodsie Shop Name — see Goodsie - Get Your API Credentials.
  • Your Goodsie store sign-in, for the one-time authorization step.

How DropStream connects to Goodsie

Every store connects through the same Add Connection wizard. For the full walkthrough of the wizard’s four steps, see Add a Connection. This article covers only the Store Setup step, where you enter the Goodsie-specific details.

Enter your Goodsie details

  1. In the Add Connection wizard, work through to the Store Setup step. Choose Create new store, give the store a Name, and select Goodsie as the Platform. The Goodsie credential field appears below.

  2. Enter your credential:

    Field What it is Example
Shop Name The subdomain in your Goodsie store URL myshopname

For example, if your store URL is http://myshopname.goodsie.com/, the Shop Name is myshopname. For where to find it, see Get Your API Credentials.

  3. Click Authorize. A Goodsie sign-in window opens — sign in with your Goodsie credentials to grant DropStream access.

  4. Click Add connection.

Notes

  • The Shop Name is just the subdomain — don’t include http://, .goodsie.com, or a trailing slash.
