Order Attribute Transformer Rule

The Order Attribute Transformer rule can be used to change the values of order attributes in DropStream order rules, for example, to update the Source ID or customer email of an order.

The parameters of this rule are:

• Attribute name - A list of attributes of an order that can be used to filter orders, e.g. Customer Email.
• Value type - The type of the attribute value, e.g. text.
• Value - The value assigned to the attribute, e.g. jdoe@gmail.com.

To add a new Order Attribute transformer,

1. Open the desired store.
2. Go to the Rules tab.

3. Click +Add rule.

4. Name your rule and click +Add action.

5. Select Set order attribute from the dropdown menu.

6. Choose the attribute whose value you would like to change from the dropdown, and specify the new value.

Attribute values default to simple values. For other options, see Attribute Assignment in Order Rules.

7. Click Save changes.
