Goodsie - Allowing API Access

The Application Programming Interface (API) allows for automated communication between connected systems. In order to automate fulfillment, API Access must be enabled.

The following steps are required to enable API Access to Goodsie:
   
  1. Creating Staff Account in Goodsie
  2. Gathering API Credential from Goodsie
  3. Entering API Credential in DropStream

Creating Staff Account in Goodsie

Create a separate Goodsie staff account for your account manager:
    
  1. ​Login to your Goodsie administration panel.

  2. Click Manage > User

  3. Click the Add User button

  4. Fill in the staff member details and click the Send Invitation button.


Once you have completed these steps, your account manager will receive an invitation to your Goodsie store allowing them access to complete the remaining integration steps.

Note: It is recommended the new Goodsie staff member retain Full access at least until the integration process is complete.


Gathering API Credential

Gather your Shop Name from your Goodsie Store URL:

From the Goodsie URL. ex: http://{shop_name}.goodsie.com/ 
(Please include only the shop name, not the entire URL) 


Entering the API Credential

To enter the API Credentials:
   
  1. Go to your Goodsie Store in DropStream

  2. Click Actions > Settings


     

  3. Enter API Credentials in Connection Details


     

  4. You will be directed to Goodsie to Sign in and Authorize

  5. You will be re-directed back to DropStream

  6. Click blue Add Store / Save Changes button
