Configuring the Product SKU

Stock keeping units (SKU) are merchant defined codes used to uniquely identify products in a warehouse. It is critical that the SKUs defined in Infusionsoft match exactly to the SKUs loaded into your warehouse management system.

Gathering Shipping Methods

Most businesses have unique shipping needs that are based on a variety of factors and limitations. Once the Merchant has decided which methods (and/or carriers) to offer, the only thing shoppers need to do is choose a method when they place their orders. As part of the third-party fulfillment setup process a mapping must be created from each available shipping description offered in the e-commerce system to the unique shipping code used by the fulfillment center.

Reviewing Order Status

Setting the integration to  Enabled  will begin the process of automatically sending orders from the e-commerce cart your warehouse management system. During the automated fulfillment process, orders will be shown with status. Order Statuses include:
  • Paid - Orders with a status of Paid will be imported and processed.

Note: It is also possible to remove this condition, so that DropStream will process orders even when the status is not Paid. To do so, Enable Custom Fields for Infusionsoft.
